Vivek Oberoi to cast newcomers in next horror production

Despite dipping in and out of being in-front of the camera, Vivek Oberoi has also been spending his time behind it too. Having announced his first film under his home production Oberoi Mega Entertainment not too long ago, he has now announced a second film under his banner too.

Taking to social media site Twitter, Oberoi announced, “God has been kind! We bring you our 2nd film, #Rosie, a horror-thriller franchise based on strange true events in Gurugram. Produced by @mandiraa_ent & my home prodn Oberoi Mega Ent, @RosieIsComing will be directed by @mishravishal.”

With the recent passing away of Sushant Singh Rajput raising major questions on how the industry treats newcomers, it seems Oberoi is determined to be one of those film makers who makes a change. Following the announcement, he added how he is on the hunt for new faces. “Always tried to support talent so launching something close to my heart! With a talent hunt for #Rosie,me & @mandiraa_ent promise to cast new talent unbiasedly to play a prominent role, alongside lead actors. Our small effort to make a big difference. Details on @RosieIsComing.”

A few days ago, Oberoi announced his first production will be titled ‘Iti’, which will also be directed by Vishal Mishra.
