Vivek Oberoi supports 5,000 daily wage workers with SAATH initiative

Vivek Oberoi, in partnership with Financepeer founder Rohit Gajbhiye, has provided aide for 5,000 daily wage workers, including drivers, maids and labourers who are finding it difficult to make ends meet.

“We observed that migrant labourers have been stranded here since a while now. There are many of them who are not even able to cope up with acquiring daily essentials.”, Oberoi shared, “They are struggling to pay their rent, buy daily essentials, to feed their children. We have supported more than 5,000 families.”, Hindustan Times reported.

The donations will be distributed under their Support Aid & Assist The Helpless (SAATH) initiative. “We also launched the initiative on social media for people to directly and instantly create an impact.”, Oberoi said.
