Vivek Oberoi signs Karan Anshuman for web series on IPL

Popular star and philanthropist Vivek Oberoi is all set for his next venture, reportedly a 12-part web series, in which he will play a character based on Lalit Modi, the first Chairman and Commissioner of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The original online series is being led by Karan Anshuman, previously known for his directorial debut ‘Bangistan’ (2015). Titled ‘Power Play’, the series will be made with a budget of ��around Rs 75 crore, and will be streamed on Amazon Prime. ‘Power Play’ will also feature ‘Sarbjit’ (2016) superstar Richa Chadha who will apparently depict the role of an actress who is dating a cricketer played by Angad Bedi, who will also own a team in the fictitious IPL franchise.
