‘Krrish 3’ is one film that۪s going to grab a huge chunk of eyeballs when it releases next year. Both its predecessors in the trilogy (‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Krrish’) where huge money spinners at the box office. It۪s still in its early stages of production, but there were rumours suggesting that the upcoming film’s hero Hrithik was practically directing the film and had therefore officially been brought on by papa Rakesh as the film’s associate director.
However the film۪s antagonist Vivek Oberoi, has put all rumours to rest in a recent interview to Mid Day.
He is not the associate director. He is the star of the film. Yes, he is very involved in the film, because it is his film after all. But there is nothing more than that.
He also went on to add how much in awe he was of Hrithik due to the latter’s patience and dedication.
He is a delight to work with. He not only makes sure of quality performance on the screen, but also how Kangana or me look and perform. There have been days when I have called him regularly on the sets even on his off-days to ask his opinion on a stunt that I am doing, or if my body language is right. He is happy to make time for us and comes to the shoot all the time to supervise.
Tentatively scheduled to release in January next year, Krrish 3۪ is directed by Rakesh Roshan and also stars Priyanka Chopra as the film۪s female lead. Vivek and Kangana Ranaut will be seen in villainous avatars.
