‘The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri has slammed Karan Johar over a comment the latter made about Anushka Sharma’s career in the past.
The old video in which KJo talks about “murdering” Sharma’s career has gone viral. Both Agnihotri and Apurva Asrani did not hold back in their views about the head-honcho of Dharma Productions.
After sharing the video, Agnihotri said, “Someone’s only hobby is to make or break careers. If Bollywood is in gutter, it’s because of some people’s dirty ‘backroom’ politics against talented outsiders.” Apurva added,“’I totally wanted to murder Anushka Sharma’s career’ – Karan Johar confesses to Rajeev Masand & Anupama Chopra in 2016. Said in jest, I’m sure, but still a worthy point in the raging insider-outsider debate.”
