Vivaan Shah & Akshara Haasan spread love on Valentine’s Day

The Rajput Karni Sena are piling on the pressure on Sanjay Leela Bhansali to ensure it does not release the film in public until it has watched it.

The film had got into trouble recently by the group, which resulted in an attack on Bhansali after allegations of lovemaking between Queen Padmini and Alauddin Khilji emerged. Bhansali later vehemently denied any such scenes were being shot for the epic drama.

Karni Sena have now approached the I&B Ministry demanding a “pre-censor board” panel of experts to watch the film to ensure no factual history of ‘Padmavati’ has been distorted.

Lokendra Singh Kalvi, founder of Shree Rajput Karni Sena was cited in Deccan Chronicle saying, “Truth often gets overshadowed by the subjectivity of perception which can mislead generations of audience and result in poor understanding of history. And when comes to Bollywood, it has happened several times in the recent past, such as in the case of the film Jodhaa Akbar in 2008.”
