Vishal Dadlani issues warning against remixing Vishal Shekhar songs

With remixes of old songs being all the rage in Bollywood, there are some who overtly disagree with them, especially if the originals were made by them. One such big name is Vishal Dadlani, who has come out to warn anyone who even thinks about reviving any more of the songs composed by him and partner Shekhar Ravjiani.

Being outraged by the remix of their ‘Saki Saki’ (2004) song, the music composer spoke out then. Now he has once again taken to social media and warned that he will take legal action to anyone who remixes other songs of his. “Warning: I WILL sue anyone making remixes of Vishal and Shekhar songs. I’ll even move court against the films and musicians. After ‘Saaki Saak’i, I hear upcoming bas***disations include ‘Dus Bahaane’, ‘Deedar De’, ‘Sajnaji Vaari Vaari’, ‘Desi Girl’ and more. Make your own songs, vultures!”

He even warned his own friends, adding, “Do NOT remix Vishal and Shekhar songs without our permission, due credit, and remuneration. I will come for you hard, legally. Especially the musician doing it. This will become very, very personal, even if you are a friend.”

Seems like this is one warning nobody wants to ignore.
