Vishal Bhardwaj’s next to star Shahid Kapoor & Sanya Malhotra?

After Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Sapna Didi’ has been stalled for some time due to the ill health of both Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan, it seems the filmmaker has moved on to his next project.

News has it that Bhardwaj has signed Shahid Kapoor for the film which will apparently be based once again on a Shakespeare favourite. Now, reports also suggest that the leading lady’s role for the film could well be bagged by Sanya Malhotra. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Recently, Sanya Malhotra had met Vishal in his office. The meeting was a prolonged one, as Vishal was giving her a short narration of her character and the story”.

It seems Malhotra hasn’t yet been signed. The source added, “Sanya has okayed the offer, but she is yet to sign on the dotted line”.

Bhardwaj’s mother passed away suddenly on the weekend so it could well be that the film might get delayed maybe.
