Shahid-Shraddha start shooting for 'Haider'

The much talked about ‘Haider’, which is a Vishal Bhardwaj’s Bollywood adaption of William Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’, has gone on the floors today with lead actors Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

The film’s first schedule has begun in Kashmir’s Dal Lake, where a considerably big crowd had gathered to try and catch a glimpse of their favourite stars. The film will be majorly shot in Kashmir and Bhardwaj has assured Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that he will make sure the sentiments of the natives will not be hurt in this portrayal of the region in ‘Haider’.

This is the first time Shahid and Shraddha will be seen on screen and no doubt they will make the ideal couple for the story at hand. They were initially going to be starring together in ‘Milan Talkies’ but this did not work out.
