Vishal Bhardwaj to work on more Shakespeare

After having conquered three of Shakespeare’s dramatic plays, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is thinking of making more projects inspired by the English literature.

Talking to the media, Mid-Day reported Bhardwaj expressing, “I think you can adapt any William Shakespeare into a film. I want to do ‘King Lear’, ‘As You Like It’. But I mainly want to do his comedies and I might do a trilogy of his three comedy plays.”

Bhardwaj has indeed proved himself immensely with his latest film ‘Haider’ (2014). There’s no doubt in saying if anyone could do justice to Shakespeare in the Indian Film Industry, it has to be Bhardwaj.
