Vishal Bharadwaj has always done well with Shakespearean adaptations. So it comes to no surprise that as his recent release ‘Rangoon’ (2015) is having mixed reviews, the filmmaker is already thinking about his next, and wants to revert back to the famous English playwright for inspiration.
“The National Award winning director has his eyes on Twelfth Night, a comedy written by Shakespeare in the 17th century. The play is still a favourite amongst literature lovers,” Deccan Chronicle reports a source expressing.
They went on to add, “The story is still under process and Vishal will surely add some Bollywood flavour to it.”
Looks like Bhardwaj has found a lucky charm in Shakespeare.
