Virgin Media slashes price of Asian Mela pack

Fresh from announcing the launches of ZEE TV HD, Sony TV HD, Sony MAX HD and the exclusively available ZEE Cinema HD and Living Foodz HD, Virgin Media has confirmed the price reduction for its Asian Mela pack.

It seems Virgin Media has reacted to the recent Sky changes, where it put premium Asian TV channels into its base pack. The cable platform is now offering its Asian Mela bundle for £6 per month, based on a 12-month agreement.

David Bouchier, Chief Digital Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media, said, “Fans of Asian shows and entertainment will be delighted with these additions to our platform. We’re upgrading more of our channels to high-definition as we believe our customers deserve the highest viewing quality when it comes to watching the shows they love.”

As well as the major Asian TV channels, Virgin Media is also the home to exclusive channels like Living Foodz HD, ZEE Cinema HD, Good Times and NDTV Spice.
