Virgin Media deny Asian channels move to ‘XL’

Virgin Media has informed BizAsia.co.uk that there are no plans to move the ‘Asian Collection’ of channels to its ‘XL’ package.

Speculation on Internet forums and BizAsia.co.uk readers suggested the Asian channels would shortly be available through the Virgin ‘XL’ entertainment package. However, the cable TV provider denied this will be happening.

The ‘XL’ pack consists of 160 channels including the new ESPN sports services.

The ‘Asian Collection’ package includes channels ARY Digital, B4U Movies, B4U Music, Sony Entertainment Television Asia, MAX, STAR News, STAR Plus, ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema, ZEE Muzic, ZEE Punjabi for a price of �24 per month.
