Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma request privacy for daughter, Vamika

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have reportedly requested privacy for their daughter, Vamika.

Since she was born, the couple put out a statement and requested the media to refrain from taking any pictures of their bundle of joy. Virat’s sister is said to have requested privacy for Vamika, according to Bollywood Hungama. The couple is currently in the UK for this weekend’s tournament.

In an interaction on Instagram, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra said, “Guys Virat and Anushka have already requested media to refrain from Vamika’s pics. Please do not encourage or entertain any news that suggest that I have revealed how she looks. I totally respect their decision and would not do so myself.”

In May, Kohli revealed why they chose not to share any pictures of Vamika. He said, “Vamika is another name for goddess Durga. No, we have, as a couple, decided not to expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and make her own choice.”
