Vir Das to be seen in pilot season of American show

Vir Das has some decent films to hi name in Bollywood and is known mostly for his comedy. The actor has now bagged an American TV show, BizAsia has learnt.

The actor has been noticed by the American entertainment industry. A spokesperson told Business Standard, “Vir was being majorly noticed by the American entertainment industry from quite sometime specially after his comedy tours. He is getting an amazing response from the audience here”.

He’s had a successful comedy tour and was invited for a second tour too. The spokesperson added, “We believe that is what prompted the production house to approach him. He has now started shooting for the pilot season of this comedy show. The rest of the schedule is yet to be decided”.
