Vikrant Massey is Konkona Sen Sharma’s hero

Konkona Sen Sharma will be making her directorial debut with ‘Death at the Ganj’, a film set in the late 70’s. She��has zeroed in on actor��Vikrant Massey to play the leading role.

Massey confirmed his casting to Mumbai Mirror. He said, “Konkona and I were shooting for Prakash Jha’s Lipstick Waale Sapne in December last year when she offered the film to me. She didn’t even audition anyone for the role. I will reach the location 20 days before the shooting begins. Since the film is based in the 70s, I want to live without technology for a while to get into the character.”

There will be no romantic angle to the story and it will also not have any song sequences. Massey��was seen in many popular television shows, before making his��Bollywood debut with ‘Lootera’ (2013), and��was last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ (2015).
