Vikramaditya Motwane directs promotional song for ‘NH10’

Anushka Sharma’s first production ‘NH10’, seems to be a film to watch out for. BizAsia has learnt that a new promotional song will be unveiled soon, directed by ‘Lootera’ (2013) director ��Vikramaditya Motwane.

Composed by Sanjeev-Darshan, the song is sung by Kanika Kapoor and is called ‘Chhil Gaye Naina’. Talking about the song, a source told Hindustan Times, “After completing the final schedule of the film, the makers thought that they should have a promotional song as well. The team had completed shooting in May 2014, and during the post-production stage, they came up with the idea. Vikramaditya gave his nod to direct the song after being briefed about the requirements. It was shot in one night”.

Motwane himself also commented, “The concept of the music video has been derived from the core essence of the film. Thus, I wanted the look and feel of the video to be a bit more grungy and slightly away from the usual videos. Anushka has done a fabulous job, considering we finished the song in one night. Hopefully, the audience will like it”.

The director recently also directed a song for Sharma starrer ‘Bombay Velvet’.
