Vikram Phadnis to replace Bipasha Basu in ‘Nia’?

After news of Rana Daggubati walking out of fashion designer Vikram Phadnis’ directorial debut ‘Nia’, the latest doing the rounds is that actress Bipasha Basu is to be replaced in the project. ��Basu has allegedly been shown the door by producer Vashu Bhagnani.

“He (Bhagnani) has told Vikram that he will back his project only if she is ousted from it,” a source informed��Mid Day.

It can be noted that Bhagnani had gone on record to say he would not work with Basu again after the actress refused to promote ‘Humshakals’ (2014), the last they worked together on.

Vikram Phadnis refused to comment on the situation, though he did confirm Daggubati’s exit from the film, citing the actor’s schedule as the reason.

‘Nia’ is set to start shooting during the summer season.
