Vikram Bhatt on why he opened up about affair with Sushmita Sen

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has opened up on why he decided to spill the beans about his fling with Sushmita Sen.

He was cited in Mid-Day saying, “I didn’t want to speak about my personal life. It was an interview on my book, but the questions pointed towards my journey instead.”

He recently admitted that he had an affair with Sen and regretted cheating on his wife and how he struggled with depression.

He said in an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, “That was not because of Sushmita. That was because of what I’d done to my life. I had gotten divorced, my film Ghulam was yet to be released, I was only Sushmita Sen’s boyfriend, I was depressed, I missed my daughter like crazy…I had just made a mess of my life.”

Bhatt has been promoting his upcoming web show ‘Spotlight 2’, which is based on a singer’s fall from fame and subsequent rise to stardom. Previously, he was rumoured to have had a made show based on Kangna Ranaut.
