Vikram Bhatt admits ‘Khamoshiyan’ script was intended for ‘Haunted’ sequel

Vikram Bhatt has admitted that the script for ‘Khamoshiyan’ was originally written for the sequel of ‘Haunted’ (2011).

In a statement, Bhatt said, “Khamoshiyan was my ‘Haunted 2�۪. I wanted to make it as the sequel to ��Haunted�۪.”

Bhatt said he had discussed the film’s script with Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt and they loved the idea and that is when they roped in Karan Darra to direct the movie.

���The script was then named ��Khamoshiyan�۪ and Karan (Darra) became the director of the film. I’m thrilled to see how my script has shaped up and the reaction to the trailer for a non-star cast film is just outstanding,�۝ said Vikram.

‘Khamoshiyan’ stars Ali Fazal, Gurmeet Choudhary and Sapna Pabbi. It releases on Friday 30th January 2015.
