Director Vikas Bahl has been embroiled in controversy, Hrithik Roshan – who is the male lead in Bahl’s directorial ‘Super 30’ – made it clear that he would not work with him. Rumours followed that Bahl had stepped down from the project but it seems that he is still on board while he tries to clear his name.
Bahl is taking legal action against his ex-partners of Phantom Films. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Vikas is going to court to prove his innocence in the case and will try and face the situation using the court of law, rather than resigning from the project whose shoot he has completed as a director. It is highly unlikely that he will step down, unless the makers – Sajid Nadiadwala and Reliance Entertainment decide to make him do so. But they are also waiting to see the initial outcome of Vikas’s legal effort”.
This seems in stark contrast from the action Sajid Khan has taken after he was accused of misconduct. He stepped down from the forthcoming ‘Housefull 4’, which he was in the middle of shooting.
