Vidya Balan’s ‘Begum Jaan’ to roll on 10th June

Vidya Balan will be seen next in ‘Begum Jaan’, as BizAsia has previously reported. The film will be going on the floors on 10th June.

Producer Mahesh Bhatt spoke to Mumbai Mirror about the film which is a remake of Bengali film ‘Rajkahini’ (2015), “For Bengal and Punjab, the Partition is a heartbreaking saga. I wish more movies would be made on this topic”.

Balan will reportedly be playing a brothel madam and eleven newcomers will be seen as sex workers.
