Vidya Balan wants to play Indrani Mukerjea

As previously reported by��BizAsia, the Sheena Bora murder case has created quite a buzz in B-town with a number of filmmakers interested in making films on the subject. ��Actress Vidya Balan says she would love to play the role of Indrani Mukerjea, mother of Sheena Bora, who also happens to be one of the accused for the murder.

Speaking to��DNA India, Balan said, “I don’t know if this is a politically correct thing to say – the matter is sub justice – but I would love to play someone like Indrani Mukerjea as I find her really intriguing… Of course there are many films being made on her, but she’s the most recent reference. ��I’m not talking about killing someone but each of us has a dark side; and now, I feel ready to explore that.”

Balan was last seen in Mohit Suri’s Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ which failed to live up to expectations.
