Vidya Balan to reprise Sridevi’s ‘Sadma’ role?

Since news came about that ��Sadma�۪ (1983) would be remade, there have been a couple of names associated with it. The most recent is Vidya Balan who is believed to be a favourite to reprise Sridevi�۪s role in the film.

According to Hindustan Times, the actress met with filmmaker Lloyd Baptista recently. A source says, ���Vidya is one of the leading names on his list. They also met recently to discuss the movie�۝.

Interestingly, Balan herself is a little unsure about whether she wants to take up the role, ���She isn�۪t keen to take up the role right now. She feels that no one will be able to match Sridevi�۪s performance,�۝ says the source, adding, ���Also, Vidya�۪s hands are full currently. She will be working on three films this year. She is also looking to work on original scripts�۝.
