Vidya Balan to host an American talk show?

While many television stars are trying their luck in B-town, many Bollywood stars have also turned to the small screen over the years. ��Actress Vidya Balan is allegedly all set to host a talk show, which will be produced by a Hollywood studio.

Though Balan has not yet spoken about the project, a source informed��Mumbai Mirror, “It’s a show unlike any on Indian television. ��It will be backed by a Hollywood studio and will air on a US television network. ��It demands six months of consecutive filming dates which is��why she (Balan) doesn’t want to sign any new films.”

It can be noted that Balan, who had started her career as a television actress with Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Hum Paanch’, had recently been approached for biopics on the lives of Suchitra Sen and Benazir Bhutto but rejected both film offers.

The only film Balan is currently working on is Mohit Suri’s ‘Hamaari Adhuri Kahaani’ opposite Emraan Hashmi.
