Vidya Balan signs Gauahar Khan in upcoming Hindi remake?

Model turned actress Gauahar Khan is a huge fan of Vidya Balan. Following the success of her film ‘Ishqzaade'(2012), Khan bumped into the ‘Parineeta'(2005) actress at an awards show, and expressed her admiration of the National Award winner.

The��Hindustan Times reports Khan sharing, “When I told Vidya that I loved her work, to my surprise, she told me she loved me and my work too. Hearing her say she is my fan was a huge deal. I was shivering when I heard that. Perhaps it was because I was relatively new at the time. She told me that we had to work together some day. I too wished and hoped for the same as I loved her and her work so much. I am the biggest Vidya Balan fan.”

Earlier this year, apparently the ‘Heyy Baby'(2007) actress has even contacted Khan to work in her upcoming venture, which is a Hindi remake of Sirjit Mukherji’s Bengali movie ‘Rajkahini’.

Khan was excited about the project and shared the following on the same, “I wished that somehow I get a call for a role in the film and the next thing I know is I get a message from Vidya, saying she wants me to do a part in the film. I was jumping with joy, and couldn’t believe that it was happening.”

The ‘Bigg Boss 7’ winner is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, romantic thriller, ‘Fever’ which also stars Rajeev Khandelwal as lead protagonist.
