Vidya Balan shows interest in Indira Gandhi biopic?

Director Manish Gupta is eager to start his next, a biopic on Indira Gandhi.��He is currently working on the legalities of the film, which may star Vidya Balan.

A source told DNA India, “We are ready with the script of our next-a political drama (on Indira Gandhi). But we are working on the legalities and approvals that are needed to be taken for this project. We are on a positive track. We are hopeful we will begin shoot this year. It is difficult to make a film like this. We are working on certain things which is causing the delay. We can’t reveal what will be included or not in the biopic. She (Vidya) has liked the idea. She has shown interest in the project.”

Gupta’s last film was ‘Rahasya’ (2015), starring Kay Kay Menon and��Tisca Chopra.
