Vidya Balan on her ‘Kahaani 2’ character

After an award-winning performance in ‘Kahaani’ (2012), Vidya Balan is back with the sequel of the film, and has spoken about her character in the same.

Deccan Chronicle quote the actress saying, “Durga Rani Singh is complicated. She is someone who seems and rather wants to be invisible. She does not want to interact with the world and lives in her own world…Then a certain situation of her life challenges her completely and she comes out of her shell. I never thought a person like her can evolve .That complication fascinated me.”

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh and costarring Balan with Arjun Rampal, the film releases on 2nd December.
