Vidya Balan never thought she’d do film with Vishesh Films

Despite succeeding in a number of very unconventional roles, actress Vidya Balan never expected to get a film under Mahesh Bhatt’s home banner.

To soon be seen in Bhatt’s ‘Humari Adhuri Kahani’,��India Today��reported the actress explaining, “I never thought in my career I would do a film with Vishesh Films, because the kind of films the banner makes are very different from other films, for some reason. So, I was thrilled when I got a call to be a part of this film.”

With Mohit Suri sitting in the director’s chair, Balan will be sharing the screen with Emraan Hashmi and Rajkummar Rao. Having written the story, Bhatt has based this film on the life of his parents.

The film is set for release on 12th June.
