Vidya Balan involved in casting for ‘Begum Jaan’?

Having made her mark within the Indian Film Industry, Vidya Balan is now getting involved in other parts of filmmaking too, it seems. Apparently, the actress is taking part in the casting process for her forthcoming film ‘Begum Jaan’, which will be directed ��by��Srijit Mukherji.

“The actress along with Mukherji has already shortlisted actors, having scouted them from across the country, and will soon audition them extensively for the roles of the supporting cast,”��Box Office India reported a source stating.

They went on to explain, “Vidya really liked the script and expressed keen interest in participating in the casting process, and Srijit immediately agreed. The actress met several actors before she left for the shoot of ��Kahaani 2�۪ and will resume casting on completion of that film.”
