Vidya Balan to essay role of Indira Gandhi

Vidya Balan has always been drawn to biopics and her performances are nothing short of entertaining. BizAsiaLive.com has learnt that the actress will now be seen as Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in an upcoming venture.

“I am happy to have acquired the rights to Sagarika Ghose’s “Indira: India’s Most Powerful Prime Minister”, because I have always wanted to play Indira Gandhi. I haven’t decided yet whether it should be a film or a web series, but that will take a while anyway,” said Balan, in a statement, according to Indian Express.

No doubt this is one film which will be worth waiting for.
