Vidya Balan & Deepika Padukone to play sisters?

Vidya Balan has been signed to play MS Subbulakshmi in a biopic. The latest buzz is that the film will have another leading lady and it seems that Deepika Padukone has bagged the role.

Rajiv Menon, who will be directing the film, is thought to have been impressed by Padukone and has therefore given both actresses equal roles. Padukone will be essaying the role of Subbalakshmi’s sister, Bala.
