Vidhu Vinod Chopra had “insisted” ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ title

The trailer of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja starrer ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ just released this week and has received much appreciation on social media. The film’s title is a romantic love number that was featured in Anil Kapoor’s ‘1942: A Love Story’ who also stars in the film. Debutante director Shelly Chopra Dhar says it was her brother and the film’s producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra who recommended it.

Dhar said, “I thought Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh was apt for this film. However, Vidhu Vinod insisted it should be Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga or else it sounded incomplete. And we just went by this title and couldn’t have asked for better title than this. February is the month of love so I am more than happy to present my film in this month. Yes, had it come on V-Day it would be great, but it doesn’t matter. We are more than happy with the date that we have locked,” as according to Asian Age.

‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ is slated to release on the 1st of February.
