Video attacking Rishi Sunak’s “celebrity lifestyle” sparks row online

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has come under attack by a new pro-Labour campaign group, after his “lavish celebrity lifestyle” prompted a row online.

The video accused Sunak of planning tax cuts for “his old mates in the City” and target his own personal wealth.

Reacting to the video, former Tory Chancellor, Sajid Javid defended Sunak. He said, “The Left really, really do detest ethnic-minority Tory Cabinet ministers.”

Foreign Office Minister James Cleverly added, “The left really don’t like us BAME people being successful, do they.”

Tom Tugendhat, chairman of the foreign affairs committee, said, “I don’t remember seeing videos like this about [former Tory chancellor] Phillip Hammond who was also very wealthy but somehow Rishi Sunak is different.”

The group said it had also made a video about Prime Minister, Boris Johnson and his adviser, Dominic Cummings.
