Vicky Kaushal paired up with Deepika Padukone in Karan Johar’s next?

While its been a quiet 2018 for Deepika Padukone, the actress is set to make a splash with a number of new releases in 2020.

Her first will be ‘Chhapaak’ with Vikrant Massey, followed by ’83’ also starring her real-life partner, Ranveer Singh. Now, news is abuzz that Padukone will be seen in Karan Johar’s next, directed by Shakun Batra.

It is rumoured Vicky Kaushal will be paired opposite Paudkone in the film, which is based on two couples and their marital lives, according to DNA India.

It is worth mentioning that the two stars were expected to be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ in the role of Rawa Ratan Singh, but news at the time suggested that Padukone was not keen to work with him as he was not a big enough star.
