Vicky Kaushal will be seen romancing Nora Fatehi in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming biopic on freedom fighter Udham Singh. The film will feature a special romantic music video, in which Fatehi will play Kaushal’s love interest. The video will be shot in Shimla.
Fatehi has recently returned to Mumbai after wrapping up Remo D’Souza’s dance drama ‘Street Dancer 3D’ in Dubai. She will head to Shimla on 19th June to shoot the romantic number with Kaushal, reports India Today.
Talking about the project, Fatehi said, “The song came to me after Dilbar (from Satyameva Jayate) released last year and the makers had told me that they were looking for a guy to cast opposite me. The song is very different from what I have done before. It is not a dance number, but a very performance-oriented song revolving around a married couple and what happens between them. I won’t be dancing in this one.”
The music video, directed by Arvinder Khaira, will be shot for three days in Shimla. According to reports, B Praak, who recently sang Teri Mitti for Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari’ (2019), has given his voice for this song as well.
Fatehi told reporters, “Arvinder is good at directing videos that have emotions and stories that connect with the audience. People are used to watching Vicky act but it’s going to be different to see me in this avatar. The lyrics are so beautiful, it gave me goosebumps when I heard them for the first time.”
The star also will be visiting Shimla for the first time. She said, “I will try my best to stay back and enjoy the place.”
