Viacom18 to launch India’s first Gujarati movie channel

Viacom18 has been cleared by India’s media regulator, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, to launch a Gujarati movie channel.

This will be the first TV channel dedicated to Gujarati cinema. It will be called Colors Gujarati Cinema. No other details at this time have been made available.

Viacom18 has been strengthening its position in various markets across India. Recently, Viacom18 launched Colors Kannada Cinema.
