Veteran director calls Imran Khan “mentally challenged”

Director Rahul Rawail had a very successful career throughout the 1980’s and 90’s, having launched the Bollywood careers of superstars Sunny Deol, Kajol and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. ��Recently he has been making headlines for having questioned actor Imran Khan’s mental status.

A few days ago, Rawail took to his personal Twitter account to post, “Imran Khan in yesterday’s Mumbai Mirror : “Is Rahul Rawail still around?” My sympathies with this mentally challenged person.”

The tweet was with regards to an interview of Khan’s in which he said, “Is Rahul Rawail still around? He had a grudge against Avantika because she’d rejected his ‘Buddha Mil Gaya’.”

It can be noted that Rawail had apparently��caused misunderstandings between Khan and��Ranbir Kapoor. ��Khan claims he and his wife, Avantika Malik, who also happens to allegedly be an ex-girlfriend of Kapoor’s, had cleared the air with Kapoor.

Imran Khan will be making his return to the big screen, after a gap of almost two years, with Nikhil Advani’s ‘Katti Batti’.
