‘Veera’ confirmed to go off-on Star Plus in August

One of Star Plus’ most popular shows ‘Veera’ will be going off-air next month, BizAsia can confirm.

The show, which started in October 2012 has proved well in the ratings but recently the popularity and ratings of the show have declined. Initially, it did well outside the primetime slot. It boosted the channel’s offerings when it was taken out from a primetime slot to an early evening time slot.

BizAsia sources close to the show confirmed that the ‘Veera’ will be axed in mid-August.
