Veena V shortlisted for ‘4Talent’ Awards

Ex-Club Asia and Asian FX DJ Veena Virahsammy (Veena V) has been shortlisted for the Channel 4 organised 4Talent Awards.

4Talent, which showcases new talent, has nominated Veena V under the category for ‘Best On Air Radio’. The 21 year old will compete with four others when the winner is announced on 31st October.

In a statement to BizAsia.co.uk, Veena said, “I feel so happy and overwhelmed that I have been shortlisted to the final 5 of the UK’s most exciting young creative radio talent. Even as I say that, it doesn’t seem like I’m talking about myself! It feels great that my hard work has been recognised by the mainstream industry and I really hope that this leads to bigger and better things.”
