Vectone prepares another new channel

Vectone is expanding its TV network rapidly and next in line is the launch of its Sinhalese channel (one of the two languages from
Sri Lanka).

The new channel has already made its “soft” launch on Sky unexpectedly by taking over the EPG previously occupied by its shopping channel Mall on Sky Digital EPG 696.

Vectone Sinhla is the UK’s first Sri Lankan channel and will be available 24 hours a day. Vectone Sinhla will soon be moving to a new EPG slot and situated with the other Asian channels in the 800 EPG band. A new EPG number for the channel is expected to be announced within the next two weeks.

Our source also confirmed that the Asian shopping channel Vectone Mall will return in a new avatar sometime in the future.
