Varun-Sidharth no longer on talking terms?

With ‘Student of the Year’ marking five years last week, it appeared in the celebrations that the trio Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra still shared the same rapport with one another. However, it’s now being said that things between the latter two aren’t the same.

It seems the duo, who were besties for some time, have now had their professional status get in the way of their friendship. Asian Age reports a source explaining, “Varun has been climbing from success to success since Student of the Year. Sidharth has had several setbacks since then. There are bound to be problems because of this. On top of that, there is the Alia factor. Sidharth, who is close to Alia, didn’t like it when she signed up for films with Varun. But the Alia-Varun pair is a resounding hit with the audience, and there is little Sidharth can do about it”.

Rumours about Malhotra and Bhatt’s “more than friends” status has been ongoing for some time. While there have been reports that the two, who were thought to have split, are now back together, it seems there are some cracks in their relationships as a trio.
