Varun gets advice from Salman for ‘Judwaa 2’

As he prepares for ‘Judwaa 2’, Varun Dhawan opens about the important advice given to him by Salman Khan.

In the Asian Age, Khan told Dhawan that he must listen to the director and not to be over smart. “The only advice Salman Khan has given me for Judwaa 2 is that, ‘listen to your dad (director David Dhawan) and don’t be over smart.”

In the original ‘Judwaa’ (1997), Khan plays the characters of a naive Prem and a cunning Raja. The sequel will see the ‘Dilwale’ (2015) actor play a ‘new-age tapori’ which Dhawan is please about. “It is sad that we don’t make films on taporis anymore. There will be a big change in the character of Raja in the sequel. But I would not like to speak much about it. It is far different from what Salman did in the first film,” Dhawan says.

For fans of the original film, there will be cameo appearances from all the lead characters apart from Rambha. “I cannot say anything about it right now because I want people to be surprised, especially by Salman Khan’s character in the film (‘Judwaa 2’),” said Dhawan.

‘Judwaa 2’ is slated to release on the 29th September 2017.
