Varun Dhawan wants to keep his ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ character

Varun Dhawan who will next be seen in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, seems to have become attached to his character so much so that he doesn’t want to stop being Badree from the film.

Reported in The Indian Express, the actor shared on Twitter that it was very rare that a character can make such a big impact on him. “I usually want to leave my character and move ahead but with Badree I don’t want to I want to keep him with me.”

Dhawan also went on to thank Karan Johar for introducing him to director Shashank Khaitan and Alia Bhatt, who will also be in the film starring alongside Dhawan.“Thank you Karan Johar for making me meet Shashank and Alia. Thanks for putting up with Shashi and Vaedehi.” The trio last worked together on ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ (2014).

Both Dhawan and Bhatt tweeted to inform their fans that shooting for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ had completed.

“Finished shooting for #badrinathkidhulania. I’m so grateful that I got to work with the most wonderful crew and reunite so many old friends,” tweeted Dhawan.

“I can’t believe #badrinathkidhulania is over already!!!!! It feels like we started shooting just yesterday! Guess cause it’s like family!!” tweeted Bhatt.
