Varun Dhawan: “Unfair to compare me with Govinda”

Varun Dhawan, who made his debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of The Year’ (2012), is not impressed with comparisons with comedy legend Govinda. His recent release ‘Main Tera Hero’ (2014) won him a lot of praise.

Dhawan told NDTV, “I am still new to the industry but I try to make people laugh in my own way. Chi Chi bhaiya (Govinda) is a legend and it will be very unfair to compare me to him. He is a great actor.”

Dhawan plays flirtatious and comic role in ‘Main Tera Hero’. The film is directed by his father David Dhawan who worked with Govinda in many films.

‘Main Tera Hero’ also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri. It hit theatres on 4th April.
