Varun Dhawan to sign multi-film deal with Balaji?

Varun Dhawan is expected to sign a multi-film deal with Balaji Motion Pictures on the back of the success of ‘Main Tera Hero’ produced by the big banner.

Dhawan is currently working on ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’, Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film and a project directed by his brother Rohit, also starring John Abraham. But Mumbai Mirror reports that Dhawan is in negotiations to work on various films with Balaji Motion Pictures.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Ekta was extremely impressed with Varun’s work. She was quite happy with the way their association shaped up and it only made sense that they took it further.”

Tanuj Garg, CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures, said, “Varun is among the brightest young stars and Main Tera Hero has been a terrific experience. There is a definite plan to work together again on various projects.” When prodded on the genres of the films offered to Varun and whether his father David Dhawan was likely to wield the megaphone again for them, he said, “It’s too early to divulge any details.”
