Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are currently a favourite pairing for moviegoers. Right from ‘Student Of The Year’ (2012), where both of them made their debut, to ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ (2017), in which the pair was seen last, they look extremely convincing in every role. So naturally when the pair confirmed that they would be returning for the fifth time in Abhishek Varman’s ‘Kalank,’ fans worldwide were overjoyed.

When asked about working with Bhatt again, Dhawan replied, “It was important for us to choose the right film to come back as a pair. People expect a lot from us. Kalank is very special for Karan’s production house, as it has been in the making since 2004. I don’t want to say too much, as the director is quite secretive that way.”

Dhawan, who is active on his social media, took to twitter about his experience working on this film, reports Filmfare. He tweeted “#KALANK is a film Karan wanted to direct 15 years ago. Now 15 years later that dream will be realised. Feel honoured that I can be a part of this huge ensemble and Karan’s dream film directed by #Abhishek. happy to do my 3rd film with #SajidNadiadwala and thankful for the support”

‘Kalank’ releases 19th April next year.
