Varun Dhawan to star opposite newbie in ‘October’?

It’s been revealed just a few days ago that Deepika Padukone will not be taking up the female lead role in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘October’. News has it that the team are actually looking for a debutante heroine.

According to Box Office India, the film will see a fresh face opposite Varun Dhawan, who will be working with Sircar for the first time. The auditions have been ongoing for some time but the makers haven’t yet zeroed in on anyone.

‘October’ will be Dhawan’s first film where his love interest is a debutante.
