Varun Dhawan & Sidharth Malhotra not best friends

Having debuted together in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ (2012), it was easy to say that Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra shared a very close bond. However, having gone off to do different things and making their marks in the industry as individuals, it seems the friendship has drifted slightly.

In a recent interview with Filmfare’s up coming show ‘Jio Famously Filmfare’, Dhawan was asked about his friendship with Malhotra. “I wouldn’t say Sidharth is my best friend. But he is definitely somebody I wish really well for,” he said.

Having just wrapped up the first schedule of his forthcoming film ‘Judwaa 2’, Dhawan is now gearing up for its release along with co-star Jacqueline Fernandez and director father David Dhawan.
