Varun Dhawan open to working with Rohit Shetty again

After the dismal response that ‘Dilwale’ (2015) got from audiences, it was being said that Varun Dhawan would not work with director Rohit Shetty again. However, the actor has rubbished the reports, saying they are untrue.

Talking to reporters at a recent event, according to Mid-Day, Dhawan said, “It is not true. I enjoyed working with him (Shetty). He is one of my favourite directors. I loved him as a director and I still love him. I think he is working on his next”.

He also spoke about Karan Johar’s next movie as producer, ‘Kapoor and Sons’, “I liked the trailer and since it’s a Karan Johar film, I am sure it will be good. I am looking forward to it. I wish all the best”.

Dhawan also added that he hopes the filmmaker brings in new faces for ‘Student of the Year 2’.
